| MCC I am working on an original story project (a series of novels) called the Mind's Construction Chronicles (aka MCC). ([link] is a link to the guide, but remember that it is an eternal work in progress. ). It is basically an urban fantasy about a story where there is a race of people with ESP ability. I write and draw a lot of stuff including AUs about the story. Here is a list of some of the more major characters in it. Elliott Skylar "Skye" Stryke Jr.- Age: 14-Telekinetic-A half blooded Psi kid brought up as Mundane, alienated from the Psi community. Skye is quite introverted, due to his problems with trust and takes a while to get truly close to his bets friends. He is very protective of his little brother -sometimes a little too much so. He is very loyal to those he does manage to get close to. He enjoys playing soccer, but isn't exactly great at working with a team. Timothy Ian "Timmy" Stryke-Age: 10-Electrokinetic and Empathic- Skye's younger brother. Due to his empathy , Timmy tends to have mood swings and due to his powers developing very late and being kind of weak he has low confidence. He is a sweet kid with a really big imagination who likes history and loves video games. He looks up to his big brother a lot and tends to find it difficult to tell him when he's too overbearing. Timmy is also quite naive , and likes to believe the very best of most people which gets him into trouble sometimes. Felix Stryke-Age 19-Metal bender-Felix is a bit of a wild kid (though he has calmed down some). He's lived with his grandparents since he was small. he has a grudge against another Psi family the Toyakas , because he's fairly certain they had something to do with the death of his parents. He struggles with a desire to get revenge and a desire to stay true to the morals his grandparents taught him. He is fairly impulsive and not always the best influence on his cousin. His best friend, police officer Caleb manages to keep him in check. Gemini "Gem" Tekton-Age 14- One of Skye's best friends. She is a nice girl but extremely insecure. She used to be teased when she was younger and is often worried about what people could say about her. She enjoys dancing and music but not many other 'PE' type stuff. She's also quite handy with her jewelry tools. Russell "Rusty/Rus Tekton-Age 14- Gem's younger but bigger twin brother. A mostly laid back slacker who is a surprisingly decent mechanic for a kid his age. Rus excels at the things he considers useful. He's also among the most loyal friends you'll ever find. Caleb J. Tekton-age 22- Caleb grew up as a fish out of water, adopted and raised by a family of a different race. Once he matured he learned to appreciate his adoptive family. He went to study abroad in England in high school and wound up becoming a police officer. he is Felix's best friend and often acts as his voice of reason. Caleb's eventual goal is to travel the world and soak in as much knowledge as he can about other cultures along the way. Toshiro "Blade" Toyaka-Age 15-Human to Animal Shapeshifter,- Skye's rival. Blade is snarky, flirtatious, and extremely proud, but also cynical, chivalrous and very loyal. He grew up with a fanatically religious mother and a very manipulative aunt. He works , somewhat reluctantly for the cultish Toyaka family, fighting an internal battle with his conscience along the way. Dexter "Dex" S. Toyaka-Age 24-Technocommute-Skye's seemingly villainous half brother. Dex works as head of the New Capulet cellphone company in England and his morals are as hard to pin down as his motivations. He operates with a cool demeanor, sometimes as sharp to his relatives as he is to his enemies. Skye is certain that dex is responsible for killing his parents but even that may not be what it appears. Dai Toyaka-Age 19-Pyrokinetic and Telepath Well Known in the Psi community as "the Toyaka family lunatic". Dai is a violent misanthrope with sadistic tendencies and perhaps a touch of pyromania. He is a sort of hit man for Kagami and practices a dark sort of blood magic. He hates the society both Psi and Mundane for their rejection of him and his goal is to be come a terrible force of chaos upon it to 'punish the world'. he's not exactly big on taking responsibility for his own actions. Katsuya Toyaka-Age 10-Electrokinetic and Telapth-Dex's student. He was trained from a young age to be a child soldier for the Toyakas and nearly does not know how to function as anything else. He is devoted to Dex despite his teacher's harshness towards him. He tries to be extremely loyal to them to make up for the fact that deep down he doesn't really feel like he belongs. Timmy seems to have a strange connection with him. For a more complete list check [link] . Dreamscape, Dreamcatchers Camille "Danny" Martin-A cynical girl who doesn’t get along with female peers ever since a cruel prank gone wrong by some girls that could have killed her. Unfortunately she has taken her bitterness too far. She gets sent to Hypnos Island because of a huge fight with a classmate that got her suspended. She is made the leader of the team and her power theme is music. Tabitha "Tabby"West-A girl who still deals with guilt from when her acting out led to the death of her little sister. She gets sent to Hypnos Island by her parents as a condition of her sentence for the fire that her dead little sister started. She serves as second in command and her power theme is writing. Spencer Valdez-The only daughter of parents who were really hoping for a boy. As a result she is pretty much treated and brought up as if she were a boy. She was sent to Hypnos Island because she got in a fight with a guy. She serves as the Big Guy on her team and her power theme is dance. Paige Benjamin-A former popular girl who fell out of grace and wound up amongst the wrong crowd. She was sent to Hypnos Island after being caught with some gang affiliated ‘friends’. She serves the role as medic and ‘heart’ of the team and her power theme is drama. Autumn Fletcher-A young girl who just doesn’t fit in with classmates. She was sent to Hypnos Island after she got caught vandalizing with some so called-friends. She serves as the brains of group and the Team Kid Sister, her power theme is visual art. |
